After a quick watershed analysis, the graduate design 5 students at FIU's LAEUD program have selected their sites for the BLOOM Studio. The studio group narrowed it down to 5 sites ranging from the urban to rural conditions. Each site has a unique ability to use natural infrastructure to impact water quality and provide socio-economic and cultural benefits in the area.

PLOT Studio's TJ Marston will be joining FIU's Landscape Architecture, Environmental + Urban Design program full time this year as a Visiting Instructor for the 2018-19 academic year.
This fall semester, PLOT Studio's TJ Marston will be teaching three courses in FIU's Landscape Architecture, Environmental + Urban Design Program :
This summer PLOT Studio's TJ Marston worked with incoming students in FIU's Landscape Architecture and Interior Design programs. She taught both Visual Notations and Design Foundations Studio, each an intensive 6 week foundation course where students developed critical toolsets in graphics and the design process. Student models from Design Foundations explore ways to measure and understand dynamic phenomenal processes which transform space (evaporation, heat, movement, growth, erosion, noise, etc). They used their in-depth studies to explore design interventions which catalyze those dynamic processes and allow for adaptive solutions to design problems.
